what we believe
Statement of Faith
The scriptures
We believe that the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God and without mistakes as originally written. We believe it is the complete revelation of God's will and is the only rule for salvation, life and practice. This is the driving force behind everything we do. We are committed to empowering individuals to embrace and live out the teachings of Christ. Join us in this dynamic mission as we transform lives and impact the world for His glory.
god
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and sovereign over creation, deserving of all worship and glory.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and will return to reign in glory.
holy spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the eternal Spirit of God, fully divine and co-equal with the Father and the Son. He was active in creation, inspired the authors of Scripture, and continues His work of convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He indwells all believers, guiding, comforting, and sanctifying them for the glory of God and the fulfillment of His purposes.
The church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. The Church exists to glorify God by worshiping Him, edifying believers through biblical teaching, and fulfilling the Great Commission by sharing the gospel with the world. The local church is a community of baptized believers, committed to worship, teaching, fellowship, and making disciples.
baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe baptism by immersion is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in Christ, death to sin, and resurrection to new life. The Lord's Supper is a sacred ordinance for baptized believers, signifying Christ's atoning sacrifice and uniting the church in fellowship with Him.
sex and marriage
We believe God's design for sex and marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4-6). Scripture teaches that any sexual relationship outside of this design, whether heterosexual or homosexual, is contrary to God's plan and will (Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-11). While upholding God's standard of holiness, we affirm His love, grace, and redemptive power for all who turn to Jesus in repentance and faith.
